Powers(???)
Ishtar has scarily accurate gut hunches/ is 'limited' Seer. Unless otherwise indicated, she is 100% human.
The Short:
She's basically her Earth's sleeping goddess of fate. Her powers, for now, are bound and limited to hunches and an uncanny ability to Know Things. And or be a pain in the arse because Fate Is Like That.
The Long:
- The gut hunches are just that: gut hunches that tend to be right. Think of her as genre-savvy... if genre-savvy was all over the place and then not always getting the hunches when you want them. Or getting them at all. Or getting the wrong ones because, hey, this is RP!
- The uncanny ability to Know Things is basically rare times called 'Ishtar gets an info dump and giant headache.'
Info dump means that a character's canon has been shoved into a blender, chopped up and discombobulated, and delivered with an Extreme Lack of Context
Basically, this means she can look at your character and suddenly wonder 'what does 'pink wall ice undies flying a plane with a sand stabby' have to do with 'gingerbread housecar ant'?
If you'd rather she didn't get something like that with your character, let me know. If you want to suggest hilarious out-of-context or wrong-context, go for it too. I am very open to working with you for Maximum Hilarity and Hijinks.
